The Sun And Snow

I witnessed Wet Snow ( Otherwise known as Ice Sleets in USA and Other commonwealth countries  like Canada it is termed as Ice Pellets) for the first time in my life although snow was a common phenomenon in winter in USA during my stay and it was beautiful.  Ice pellets are form of rain forming translucent balls make noise when hits ground or any striking object.              Today is Makara Sankranti an Auspicious day in Hindu  Calendar. Since this is my first post here I am going to write some of the facts of Makar Sankranti.     Makar Sankranti (also known as Makara Sankranti in Odiya) is a festival day in the hindu Calender that  is observed each year in January.
